A work from Valérie Belin's series Moroccan Brides (2010) is currently on display and is part of an exhibition held for the 20th anniversary of the Huis Marseille, Museum for Photography. The exhibition includes roughly one hundred works from its collection and is being shown in the New Wing at De Pont, its sister institution in Tilburg. Over its twenty years of existence, the Huis Marseille has built a beautiful collection of more than 750 photographic works by internationally prominent photographers such as Thomas Struth, Thomas Ruff, Andreas Gursky, Andres Serrano, Deana Lawson, Viviane Sassen, and Jean-Luc Mylayne.

The exhibition addresses the influence of the digital revolution, the omnipresence of photography online, and the return to analog practices. It also questions what these developments mean for a museum's collection.
