In the Reflection series, we may say that these captured images were “projected” on the photosensitive surface of a screen, but that instead of disappearing to be immediately replaced by others (as in film), they come and persistently accumulate. The photographic paper keeps a trace of these images, which appear as a phantom of the window’s photographed landscape.
