Curated by Emmanuel Guigon, Director of the Museu Picasso (Barcelona), this monographic exhibition presents the work of Valérie Belin from April 17 to September 6, 2026.
Continuing the museum’s mission to bridge its Picasso legacy with contemporary art, the show explores the artist’s core themes of identity, representation, and gender. Through iconic series such as Mannequins, Michael Jackson, and her photographs of Venetian mirrors, Belin interrogates the boundary between the human and the artificial, transforming everyday subjects into enigmatic icons while reflecting on the construction of the self-image.
