After the transfer of 2078 works from the Frac Île-de-France collection, the Reserves are reopening to the public with the hanging of works chosen by internet users via the sorsdetareserve.com.

33 works were chosen by the public, by 33 artists :

Wilfrid Almendra, Jean-Marie Appriou, Charles Avery, Joannis Avramidis, Eva Barto, Valérie Belin, Neïl Beloufa, Jean-Luc Blanc, Katinka Bock, Melanie Bonajo, Pierre Bismuth & Michel Gondry, Julien Carreyn, Delphine Coindet, Kevin Desbouis, Mimosa Échard,
Pierre Faure, Michel François, Jenny Gage, Étienne Hajdu, Lucien Hervé, Daniel Jacoby, Servane Mary, Philippe Mayaux, Bruce Nauman, Véra Pagava, Gyan Panchal, Florence Paradeis, Chloé Quenum, Franck Scurti, Zin Taylor, Tursic & Mille.

This first selection, which includes recent pieces as well as older, even historical ones, perfectly represents the diversity of mediums found in the Frac’s collection. It also reflects the diversity of current artistic creation.

The public now becomes a full-fledged player in a major contemporary art collection.
